Sometimes in life, we go through really hard experiences. We really have two choices when we are having a bad experience; learn/grow from it, or be hurt by it. The easy, simple response to bad things is to get angry, blame the world, God, stupid people. Those responses do nothing in the big picture. It’s OK to get angry, be sad, or just not care for a bit. But then, gather friends around and build each other up. Use the experience to recognize the good in the world. Recognize the many tremendously awesome things that go on around you every day. Be grateful to be experiencing life in such an awesome time and whether or not you believe in a God, recognize how amazingly beautiful the world is around you. Begin to enjoy the small moments again and one day you will look around and realize you are stronger for the experience. Life will continue to move on. Are you going with it?
