Well today Leo Babauta at Zen Habits announced that he has quit his day job to be a full time blogger. I’m so jealous! Just a couple of months ago J.D. Roth at Get Rich slowly announced similar plans of slowing work until he quits completely. Although I don’t think that I want to be a full time blogger, I don’t want to work for someone else forever. As I’m graduating in April, I know that I probably can’t really just start with my own stuff full-time, but I really really wish I could. I’ve been feeling more and more like that over the past 6 months. I’ve got loads of ideas, but no time to do them. The problem is they are all gambles as to whether they will actually produce any income, and I’m not about to gamble with having enough money for my family. I’m going to keep my head up, and keep working toward the goals I set at the beginning of the year. Who knows, maybe 4 months is enough time to get some things figured out…
